Joanne Fabrics Inc. is a family owned and operated company that commenced operations in September 1977 as a wholesaler / distributor of decorative fabrics. Within a number of years, Joanne became one of the largest national fabric distributors in Canada. After firmly establishing itself in the Canadian market, Joanne successfully ventured into the United States under the name J.F. Fabrics Inc.

Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Joanne sells to over 15,000 customers across North America, marketing our product under the name Joanne and J.F. Fabrics. Joanne’s customer base is quite diversified. Customers include retailers, designers, decorators, upholsterers, large department stores, hospitals, health care facilities, hotels, restaurants, furniture manufacturers, nautical and recreational vehicle manufacturers. Joanne Fabrics does not sell directly to the public.

Fabrics are selected and edited from major mills around the world. Considerable planning and resources go into the design of each of our sample programs. It is through this medium of sampling that Joanne gets its product into the marketplace. New product lines are introduced four times each year.
